HIYYEEEEEEE!!!! I'm so pumped because I just put up the headboard and I think it is so cute! The simplicity about it is what I absolutely love! It was super easy to make too which is a bonus. Because it's so simple, you could definitely add pictures above the headboard if you want that extra finish without it looking too gaudy. Products:
-Any hot glue gun/glue sticks -Scissors -Natural Braiding Cord -Bamboo Trellis (I got 5 packs for our California King) -Command Strips -Krylon Fusion All-In-One Spray Paint (2 cans) Total price: $20.34! Not too bad if I don't say so myself. PRO TIP Tie the trellis together first and then hot glue....it only makes sense to tie together and then secure together. It made my life so much easier. I tried hot gluing it first and then tying but the pieces would just fall apart or I had to sit there a while to wait for the glue to dry....I ain't got time for that. Sorry you guys, I can't add the video directly to the blog here so I'm giving you the YouTube link: Under $25 DIY Headboard In my next blog, I'll be talking about the cute freehand, herringbone accent wall I did in our master bedroom. Also another simple, inexpensive project that makes a BIG impact! I hope you guys enjoyed the video!
